Alan P. Niedzwiecki Director
Alan Niedzwiecki brings more than 25 years of experience in the alternative fuels industry in product and technology development and commercialization relating to mobile, stationary power generation, and refueling infrastructure solutions. Mr. Niedzwiecki was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies in August 2002 and has been serving as President since February 2002. Prior to this, he held the positions of Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director of Business Development. Before joining Quantum in October 1999, Mr. Niedzwiecki was President and CEO of NGV Corporation; an engineering, marketing and commercialization consulting company focused on the Natural Gas Vehicle industry. In this capacity, he worked with companies such as Shell, World Bank, EDO Aerospace, Dynetek Industries, and over 100 natural gas utility companies. While at Quantum, Mr. Niedzwiecki was appointed Chairman of the Hydrogen Storage Section of the Department of Energy’s National Hydrogen Roadmap. He has also developed very strong working relationships with the U.S. Army and the major automakers, including General Motors, Toyota, Suzuki and Hyundai. Through these relationships he has gained tremendous insight into the future direction of alternative fuel vehicles and fuel cells and the critical steps required for making a hydrogen economy a reality. Mr. Niedzwiecki is also a board member of the following organizations: CALSTART, Pasadena, CA; Fisker Automotive, Irvine, CA; and Ohio Energy Institute, Cleveland, OH.
Dale L. Rasmussen Director
Mr. Rasmussen is a founding member of the Board of Directors of Fisker Automotive and has served as the Chairman of the Board since its formation in November 2007. He is also the Chairman of the Board of Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies Worldwide. Mr. Rasmussen has served as the Chairman of the Board since 2002 and has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2000. His activities are concentrated in the joint venture and strategic alliance areas, as well as shareholder relations. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of Advanced Lithium Power since 2006. Mr. Rasmussen was the Senior Vice President and Secretary of IMPCO Technologies from 1989 through 2005. He joined the Company in 1984 as Vice President of Finance and Administration, and Corporate Secretary. Since 1996, he has been instrumental in raising over $500 million in equity financing. He has also been responsible for having research coverage of IMPCO initiated by Canaccord Adams, First Albany, Think Equity, Merriman Curhan Ford, Ladenburg Thallman, T.D. Securities, Robertson Stephens and CIBC Oppenheimer. Prior to joining IMPCO, Mr. Rasmussen was a commercial banker for twelve years at two commercial banks, which were acquired by Key Bank and U.S. Bank. He was also responsible for managing the bank's investment portfolio, branch and corporate development. Mr. Rasmussen is a graduate of Western Washington University, where he received the marketing student of the year award the year of his graduation. He is also a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School located at the University of Washington.
